This penthouse apartment is on floors 43 and 44 of a New York City Historic Landmark near the New York Public Library, Bryant Park, and Grand Central Terminal.

Existing aluminum structure was discovered and remains in its raw state, juxtaposed with walnut walls and white porcelain floors. The Living Room has a high performance acoustic ceiling to absorb sound and reduce reverberation. New glass flooring and glass spiral stair add to the transparent quality of the aluminum structure, which acts like a scaffold for living 550' in the sky in midtown Manhattan.
